Chess occupies an important part in a human’s life. It has an ancient history. Its ancestor Chaturanga was referred to in India as far back as the VI century. In The VII-VIII centuries Chaturanga transformed into Shatrang, considered a direct ancestor of modern chess. During the Shatrang period the games were recorded leading to the appearance of the books. In the XIII-XV centuries Shatrang was significantly elaborated acquiring an elaborate modern image. In the XVI century Castle, the ultimate rule of the game was elaborated and spread. This means that modern chess is over 400 years old.
